That's funny. Yeah, bring lots of firewood. The more the merrier and that kindling is nice.

Does anyone have a canoe I can tag along in or should I buy a float tube?

Just a reminder as we're less than 2 weeks away. Time to start coordinating who's going on the float and who intends to camp etc.

For my part, I would participate in the float, either 2 or 4 hours. I have my own flotation device. If we end up with a group we'll also need to coordinate transportation to the launch site.

I also intent to camp.

I'm planning to camp but not float.
I'll be bringing a small propane grill.

So far for the float we have:
Randy
Travis (middleT)
Kyle
Steven P

Anyone else? Also, unless you are bringing a canoe, I'd stick to the 2 hour. Inner tubes etc. take a LOT longer to go down stream, so it turns into close to 4 hours. So far no one has said they are bringing a canoe. Last year there were a couple and they did the 4 hour and met up with the rest of us at the bridge. I can do either with my "craft". It's not as fast as a canoe but quite a bit faster than a raft.

I will not be able to attend Beer Camp this year. You folks have fun. Weather looks like a good day to be in the river. Lows in the 60's that night should make for a comfortable evening.
