Is anyone else in on the road trip Saturday? So far we have Randy, Dan,
and Tony.
Here's what I propose: Meet at Tony's at 9am, then head over to HawgEyes
BBQ. From there down to drop off entries. We should have time to hit a
couple of breweries/bars downtown before heading back.
Potential beer stops: Court Ave, El Bait, Exile (new), Confluence (new),
Raccoon River.
If anyone wants us to take IBU entries over, you need to make
arrangements to get them to us before Saturday.

Thanks for the reminder. I've got two specialty beers (23A & 16E), with which I included detailed information on both the base beer & the unique ingredients.
Also, don't forget to mark the extra details needed with ciders & meads.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm meeting up with Dan White after work today to make the drop.

Just checked my entry results and got 2nd place for my common perry (27D) with a score of 41. My belgian specialty ale (16E) scored 37 and got nothing.

My RIS entry scored 40 & got a first. I got a 38 in Specialty Beers with a Nelson-hopped CAP, but no place. I was surprised to see my Dunkel got a 28 & Hawkeye Red dry cider got a 29 (the same cider that won our club comp last year). It will be interesting to see the score sheets on the Dunkel - it's basically Jamil's recipe & I don't detect any major flaws in the beer.

Congrats all!! I also entered the RIS category and got a 37 but did not place. There were something like 32 entries in the Stout category and it had to be judged in 3 tables.
Dan White got 3rd in Dark Lager. as well!
