If anyone wants to come by to hangout after the comp, or to observe or whatever, feel free. If you need directions, here you go.

If you guys are covered on judges and such, I might just swing by a little later and catch up with you kids towards the end or after judging. Plus I still need to grab those connections Franklin.

Yup, I got your connections and a few others. Friday night is a good time to stop in even if you just want to pop over to grab your connectors quick. I have them all in.

I'm going to stop by and see what I can learn about judging at the same time I talked to Randy about bringing a few of my beers to get some opinions on an off flavor I am struggling with.

Thanks to Matt Franklin for being a wonderful host and steward. Judges were Steven P, Tony B and Randy C.
That being said, lets get down to the good stuff.
Out of 5 entries, your winners for the American Amber competition are below:
1st place: Justin Higginbotham
2nd place: Matt Franklin
3rd place: Tie between Ben Weiser and Lee Paulsen
Score sheets will be available at the next club meeting. Come see me for your sheets.
Thanks to all for your entries and as always keep up the good work!

I would like to commend all the entries - there was not a bad beer in the bunch!
In all my judging Beer Nuts comps, I think this is the first one that I can remember where there were NO bad beers - no serious flaws; some were just off style.
I think that this is a testament to the Club and why people like our beers so much at the festivals - we make damned good beers!!!
