For my setup I make all my beer lines long enough so that I can leave the regulator at 10-12 psi which is good for carbonation and can leave it there for serving too. Keeps things simple.

How long is the gas line that you're running?

I used your standard beer line tubing 3/16" ID at 5 ft. I now use the stiffer glass lined tubing also 3/16" ID but about 16' long. Seems to work well.

Resistance in the beer line drops the pressure to 2-3psi at the tap.
