I tried listening to the BN podcast a couple times. I liked the interview with a chemist about metals, sanitizing, etc. But their other shows which I tried to listened to had way too much off-topic chatter for my (admittedly very low) tolerance threshold -- I can't listen to 95% of talk radio.
Any other podcasts like it that cut the chatter factor and just give good information?

Not that I know of. The BN stuff is lengthy on chatter, but the information they do provide is pretty good stuff from the people who know. Want to learn about cleaning, they get the guy from Five Star on. My suggestion is have it play during a brew session and take notes when necessary. I listen to them at work where I can pay attention to when the good parts come on.

Sometimes we have to suffer in order to grow.

I usually listen to the bn when brewing working on stuff around the house, in general alot if your looking for pure technical content, the shows other than the session Is usually better for technical stuff. If your looking for interviews some of their stuff is searchable.

Looking for BN podcast and see it hasn't been updated since 2012. I'm on android using the podcast republic app.

Sent from my Samsung S5

Maybe I will do that since I use my iPad in the garage 95% of the time.

For you guys going to NHC this year, I have a favor to ask. Can you pay close attention to a few things for me on the new More Beer Brew Built kettles and the SS Brewtech kettles? I am sure will be at the exhibition hall. I am curious if they are essentially the same kettle with More beer going with their welded fittings and SS Brewtech doing their spin. Even curious if lids are swappable. Don’t think they will let you try, but you should be able to tell if same dimensions.

They look to be the exact same. The BrewBuilt on display have welded fittings. The SS have weldless.

Actually found a beer that had the "baby vomit" - a strawberry sour at Club night. I got it about a couple of inches from my nose and started to gag. Didn't dare taste it. Had to rinse my glass 3 times before I could get that smell out! Covered it up with a double IPA. Worse than Pottsie's beer.

Craziest thing that I found was the Spam mead. Close second was the Funky Chicken - it actually had chicken in it. Was pretty good.

Best of the night - lambic made with zinfandel grapes.

Still as good a time as always.
