Glad to see some new faces looking to join the cabinet. Questions, how often does the cabinet meet? When are meetings typically held and when? I would love to get involved but have limited time in my schedule. If I could fit it in and know I can attend regularly I may consider getting involved.

The cabinet meets once per month, typically the week before the general meeting. Meeting time is flexible and has routinely been around 8 pm. The active "business" portion of the meeting is typically less than 1 hr.

That may actually be doable. I will talk with management and see what I can do.

I got clearance from management. If Randy is ready to retire, I would like to run for Vice President (or President of Vices). I was on the cabinet many years ago as a Treasurer. I would love to get more involved again and help the club continue to be successful.

I'm Matt Franklin, and I approve this message.

I'll run for Treasurer mentor those who take over the positions that I previous held.

I'll second Dan's nomination for Treasurer. To be honest, this has a lot to do with the fact that I work with Dan and that would make the knowledge transfer a lot easier.

Since Dan is running for Treasurer, I would also like to volunteer myself for either Events Coordinator or Festival Coordinator with a slight preference for Events Coordinator so Mike doesn't have to do them both. Also, would it be possible to have a tentative ballot posted to make sure we have at least one person running for all positions?

Good idea Joe. Here is the list I came up with reviewing the posts here.

President; Tim Sines (brownbeard)
Vice President; Matt Franklin (Matt F)
Secretary; Andrew Konigsmark/Pu... (Konigsmark)
Treasurer; Dan White (whitedj)
Activities Director; Joe Dotts (JoeDotts) or Mike Hora (mjhora52)
Social Media Coordinator; Eric Benda (Eric B)
Beer Nuts Festival Coordinator; Mike Hora (mjhora52) or Joe Dotts (JoeDotts)
