Re: Witbier Competition - Call for Judges
The results are in.....
First, thank you to the judging crew that included: Terry Arnold (steward), Josh Jensen, Josh Peanasky, Dan White, and me-self. Over the past few competitions, I think the club has cultivated some pretty good palates for judging. Thank you to all that have judged, please come back and keep up the good work!
Our 8 brewers did a fine job, which, unfortunately put the pressure on the judging. The first and fifth place brews are separated by 3 points, and all were the Excellent range. Congratulations to you all and thank you for competing.
And now on to the results. We had eight entries from: Chris Zubak, Craig Miller, Mike Hora, Derek Doan, Cal Corrin, Randy Carris, Tony Browning, and Terry Arnold.
And here are your winners:
1st - Randy Carris
2nd - Mike Hora
3rd - Craig Miller
Here are the current standings:
Standings:
Randy Carris (4 pts)
Tony Browning (3 pts)
Mike Hora and Chris Zubak (2 pts)
Craig Miller (1 pts)
A summary of all of the competitions can be found at http://www.crbeernuts.org/phpBB3/viewto ... 689#p35689

Re: Witbier Competition - Call for Judges
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I should have 4 points and Chris Z should have 2. He was second in the Bitter and I was 3rd I thought.
