Really, I have no idea what Iowa code would say about this. Good question!
I'm inclined to welcome the quadrupeds. And, say that no felines are likely to attend. But, the Laughing Kitten will still send beer to the other quadruped's people.

Probably should just check with Benz since it's their site and permit. The only other potential issue is that food is being served. But other fairs and markets do it.

Have you guys seen the "I've Pet That Dog" Twitter kid? He had 150k followers
Last Saturday at the farmers' market KPJ started an "I've Tripped Over That Dog" Twitter account. It has 200k followers.
We can't stop them.
Hops are poisonous to dogs.
We only have 800 lbs of ice. Not enough to treat hyperthermia from hop residue ingestion.

I am on vacation next week. I will sort through what I have and decide what I am bringing. You can safely assume there will be a cider and a mead of some kind. And probably a sour ale.

If you are reading this you are on your phone or computer.
1) Log into The Facebook.
2) Find our posting for the Drink Local Festival.
3) Click Like.
4) Click on Invite, and send it to everybody on your friends list you like to drink beer with.
5) Repeat every day until we have sold 700 tickets.
