I am not going to be able to attend this event. I just got an email today that my whole crew of college friends is getting together in Des Moines that day. I can still send a keg if it's needed.

The clock is ticking. Is the club going to get tickets or not? We post a survey 3 weeks ago and only 9 people so far have responded. I am not willing to risk not getting in because we can't sustain any momentum!

If there are no plans for the club to buy tickets by this weekend, I'm just going to order 2 for John and me to ensure we get them.

I have not gotten any tickets yet. I didn't make the July meeting so I don't know what was decided. I have talked to over twenty people that have gone in the past that said they probably won't go this year. They always did it on a whim and don't want to buy in advance. The biggest reason is they wouldn't go if the weather was bad. I am curious to see if the event will sell out. That would only be 100 more people than last year. I am going to talke to Little T to see if he can get 4 free tickets. He is usually by himself so maybe we can get those if we help him run his booth. We usually do anyway.

My advice...skip the long paragraph and read the pps at the bottom.

Little T will see about the tickets.  Little T likes the third person.  Little T wont do this till next week because Little T is busy with more pressing issues.  Why 4 tickets?  I might be able to get one.  Us "pro" brewers (thats funny to me) only bring one to three (at the very most) people with us to this thing so it would be pretty easy for her to give us a ticket or two, but all of the home brewers coming would make for a very large dent in the beer and if everyone gets in free......Its for charity too btw.  But Little T will ask Teresa.  Little T out!  Cheers!  Little T will also see if Teresa has plans to refund the ticket money if it rains.

PS...Little T likes your beer.

Any chance we can get a beer tally for this event? I was planning on bringing a keg, then a "college reunion" popped up that day. If I could take a keg to that, it would be cool. But, as a member, I want to make sure we are properly represented at the festival. I don't know that I have enough kegs for both. Let's get a roll call here.

Please indicate if you want Teresa to hold a ticket to the fest in this forum. I would like all the response by Wednesday August 5th.

Thanks
