Despite the bitter cold temps, we will still be having judging for the American Stout at Thew Tuesday night at 7pm.

5 entries shouldn't take us long to do. It'll make for a nice outing before the dangerous temps hit us, -28f does not sound friendly.

With the updated forecast for tomorrow night, we will postpone judging until next week. Thinking Thew at 7pm. Was hoping i could get people for Thursday night the 7th.

Post here if you are available.
Thanks

It's just a little Siberian Express to help celebrate the Gazprom release tomorrow! :D

Yeah, I can do the 7th.

Fingers crossed on the weather again. Could be nasty driving tomorrow evening.

It's supposed to be done around 2pm, I'm optimistic it won't be that bad by 7pm, gives road crews a few hours to clear it.

Yeah, I got hit with it this morning at the supermarket. Came out to freezing rain and sleet. Had to scrape ice off both front and back glasses. At least the roads were still OK. But MAN is it windy out now!!

Thanks to all who could make it for the judging, Tony b, travis, terry, pat McCullough and mike b.

We had a lot of fun with the roundtable judging, filling out our individual scoresheets and having an open discussion about each beer. We had some nice examples of the american stout category, its always interesting to be able to try different interpretations of the same beer.

Winners were found with little debate, and will be announced publicly at the February general meeting. You may pick up your scoresheets at that time from me. If you have any questions about your sheets feel free to talk to me then, or message if easier.
