I poured mine from a bottle last week and gave it to Big T. This usually works fine from what I have done in competitions which only take entries up to a week before the competition.
I vote you just post the results to the website once you have them. If I know 1st through 3rd place I can update the standings for the year.

It was a great night for an IPA, three judges and a eastern iowa famous steward met at the VP's Big T's man cave and spent hours carefully evaluationg each and every beer like it was thier own.
After some close calls, and some difficult decisions we have three clear winners.
3rd place - Prez Larry and Matt F. (Slappys)
2nd place - Dave Ard
1st place - Dave Rhinehart !

I also wanted to thank Tom, Nic and Larry for helping with the with this club comp. I think hosting the club comp on a non-meeting night really helped make this club comp not only more enjoyable but should provide better feed back and more clear results when were not so crunched on time.
Thanks again to all the great entrants, looking forward to the next club comp.
Hopefully someone will post the next club comp date and style. I can't seem to remember it from out discusion lsat night.

Given the IPA results, here is the standing for the club competitions so far this year. Tony is tied for first with Larry and Matt. Dave R jumps in to a second place tie with Chris & Amy. John and David are in third. Keep up the good work everyone.

Next competition was slated for January because December is busy with the holiday season. I suppose it could be in December if we could get the judging together. The beer style is 12C Baltic Porter. The style after that in March kicking off next years round of competitions is 25B Pyment. How come I am the only one that can remember the details from our meetings? Maybe I am not drinking enough.

It's not the driving TO the meetings that the problem, but home FROM the meetings!
Will someone bring the scoresheets to the next meeting? I'm sure all the entries would like to see their feedback.

I'm sure any one of us could be in the same position as J. Either we can handle our beer better, are just lucky or we don't break the law when we have been drinking giving the police no reason to pull us over

.
I wish I could have entered a few beers into the IPA contest. I worked late on Tuesday and didn't get a chance to fill any growlers. I had three entries. Those might have pushed the DFL up a little bit.

Please feel free to bring those three entries to me and I'll take the time to judge them for you.
Thank you.

I like to think it's karma that has kept me from getting busted.
