T, The reason I didn't bring 2 of each as I brought 22 oz bottles instead of 12ers. I knew there would not be that many of you judging and very few entries, so likely hood of 2nd and 3rd round was mimimal.
In my defense, I did state at the meeting I had 2 entries, however, I did not make labels for them nor bring 2 12 oz bottles of each, so it is most likely my fault for this. I am sure if I would have followed protocol, this would not have been overlooked.
I will just make sure that I win the Irish Red comp, to make up for it!

Mr T wrote:C.J. I didn’t know either, that is interesting, you were suppose to enter 2 of each. Also for future reference we should of specified strength, carbonation and sweetness level as Mead in general is a fairly open category and if someone enters a Mead that is labeled as “still” and it feels like Champaign then that is a knock against them.
Not saying I would of got 1st if we had, its pretty weak, I liked the wine better that I split from the batch than the pyment. But then again, I stash this away for a year like it should have been aged, its might not be too shabby.

ha ha, thats funny, each big bottle contained a different Pyment. One was a red Pyment one was a white. Thats funny!
Guess I should have identified them as different. I will learn for next time. I did kind of figure the differences in color would have given it away.
