Hello All!
The grain order is now closed. Totals for this year's order are 113 bags of malt! Thanks to everyone for being timely with your orders and payments.
Checks are being cashed today. Grain order will be with Backpocket by later today and I'll hopefully have a pickup date set within the next week or so. Once the date is known I'll post here.
If you have any questions for me please send me a PM.
Thank you!

Update:
I have confirmed that the order was placed with Country Malt on 5-3. There was a slight delay as THIRSTY placed an order through Backpocket as well. There was a last minute addition as well, bringing our total to 121 bags. Pickup date is still TBD.

That's awesome. So we may need more than one vehicle to pick up the grain.

I got word from Jack at Backpocket that the grain order comes in tomorrow. I'm shooting for a pickup date sometime this coming weekend, the 18th or 19th. Details coming shortly.

Grain pickup is this Saturday May 18th at Backpocket at 10 AM. Please let me know if you cannot make it or arrange a proxy.
I'll be announcing this at the meeting Thursday as well.

I will be on my way to Minneapolis for a Twins game and hanging with friends. Can anyone pick up mine for me? I can get it from someone on Sunday evening when I get back.

Like last year I will be taking me 3/4 ton truck down and will get any gain for those that can't make it Saturday.

I may need that assistance Travis.
I have a last minute business trip leaving on Thursday and coming back Saturday evening and I have 8 bags. If they allow an early pickup I can do before Thursday, otherwise need to coordinate with someone.
Thanks for any help.

Hello All,
I received the invoice today from Backpocket and have both good news and not as good news.
The good news is that we can pickup as early as 9 AM on Saturday.
The not as good news is that the pricing initially quoted is not the pricing I'm seeing on the invoice. As things turn out the pricing is still good, but not a single bag was as low as $25 per bag. Thomas Fawcett Maris Otter for example was considerably more than that ($45 or so).
I'll figure out the additional amounts owed for each order and will PM each person these as soon as I can work through the numbers. We can settle up on Thursday at the club meeting or on Saturday AM at pickup.
I'm personally covering the overage so I appreciate all of your assistance with being prompt with the true up.
Please feel free to PM or call me with questions. 319-202-1631
Thank you,
Steven P.
