I have 4 of the 60 lb ones and like them. I had all 4 stacked on top of each other but they fell over some how and top one's lid popped off and spilled grain all over. So now they are only stacked 2 high.

Stumbled upon these, and am waiting on a coupon code for free shipping or a discount. Price is right and once in their final resting place in the basement, I doubt i even notice they are there.

Anyone know when the order might come in, or how much advance notice we will get? (I need to buy some malt if it won't be fairly soon.)

I didn't pull the trigger yet, maybe we could buy together and split shipping depending on how many you wanted to buy.

Also found this from Theisens. It's a couple bucks more but stackable and also has a access lid for a scoop.

Lowe's has gamma lids for 7.28 now. I think they used to be closer to the 12 range.

They also sell a 6 or a 10 pack (I forget) that saves you a little bit more. If you don't need that many try splitting it with another member? I think I'd need 10 gamma lids and 6 more buckets, so I'm leaning towards 4 maybe 5 large containers

Gamma lids are always a tad bit under $7 at Menards. I buy a couple every time they have a 11% rebate sale...

Buckets-- now marked food grade--- Wal-Mart $2.97. So it's a $20 storage container per grain bag... I'm tempted to put all of mine in a small galvanized trash can like I do for the chicken feed to take out the possibility of rodents getting in... Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem, but living in the country, one never knows...

I'm going to be away on business in a couple of weeks, so I also am wondering about the grain order.. if it's the last week in June/first in July, I'll need someone to grab my three bags for me and arrange paying for it all prior..

Thanks,

Quinton is on vacation. Once he's back I'll have a better understanding of delivery. Should be about the end of the month.

We are lucky to have that option. Not many years ago you had to go mail order. Thank you BIY!
