Life has thrown me some curve balls this year and I will be brewing in my apartment while I shop for a suitable large garage with a small house to sleep/brew in :D If anyone has any leads on such property in CR let me know. I have no desire to live outside the city.

I will keep y'all posted. I may grab a 3 way valve off the pump so there are zero hose changes from mash through chilling. Will look into all that once I have the system in my possession

Just got word it should be shipping in a few days. Perfect timing as I get all my current equipment out of the house this weekend 8)

Cool, bet you are happy to hear they are getting their lead time cut way down!

It'll be right at 5 or 6 weeks which is reasonable to me. Granted I had no way to use it when I ordered it so timing is perfect for me. :)

Once I get it setup I want to order whatever TC's I need to convert my CFC and I plan to order a 3 way ball valve off the pump so I should have zero hose changes the entire brew day. K.I.S.S.

Yup, that's what I did fire tubing also, though I am currently going to see how well my immersion chiller works with the whirlpool fitting going, to start

Got all my stuff in 5 days or less. Have not brewed on it yet. Still need to finish modifications to old boil kettle as it is now my HLT. Here are some pics. Very happy with both products.

Finally got the tracking number. Once I unpack it I need to determine what TC's, clamps and gaskets I need to order for the pump and chiller side as well as a 3 way valve. Also TC hose barbs. Wire up my GFCI and I am off and running. Unsure what the first batch will be as of yet. Simple saison or a SMaSH of some sorts. Be nice to get back into the game.

Still may be a bit before I get to fire this up. I can't brew in my apartment due to the stove being hard wired.

Signing on a contract this week for a HUGE garage with a house to sleep/shower in on the SW side. I am rethinking my indoor brewing now. House is small, garage is 28x34 with 240V and a floor drain. Only thing it's missing is water and for now I plan to do cleanup in the laundry room (utility sink). Eventually will put another sink in the garage.

Since this garage can fit up to 6 vehicles and I "only" have 1 car, 2 motorcycles, eventually a utility trailer and maybe a winter 4x4 I think the brewing, keezer and all equipment can stay in the garage. That is where all my entertaining would be anyway. Plus I can host brew days and others can come over to brew on their propane setups (or use my old propane setup). Just need to get a fermentation chest freezer.

I will host a brew day once I have a few under my belt and inventory up. A few have expressed interest in seeing this in action. Going to be pushing it to have much available for the Fest

Nice, looks like exactly what you were after. Will make a great brewery, especially if you get some water out there. Perfect for brew days and entertaining!

Sweet! Looks like a nice lot too.

Since water draining from brewing operations is pretty clean, you might collect it in a sheep watering tank and the spread it on the lawn. Then you'd only need a hose to get water from the house.
