The keys are in the back of the trailer on the floor. I'll PM you the combination to the padlock.

Also, I have the batteries and am charging them now. One claims it's already fully charged, but I suspect a high-resistance cell. The other two are taking current fine.

I agree that we should respect Lee's management and only those actually fetching the trailer should stop by there. I suggest meeting somewhere else. Perhaps the city parking lot at 8th Avenue SE and 2nd Street SE? That should be easy access from Lee's and to I-380. We should plan on meeting at 10:30 to make sure everything is loaded before 11:00.

Daryl, I'll hitch a ride with you. Do you want me to come to your place or will you stop here?

Oh, forgot to mention that I have the inverter for the water pump as well as one of the "schwing" bags full of the beer glass slings. I'll be bringing those down.

I have half a keg of the gooseberry mead left from NHC. I can bring it into town Friday and hand off to someone. Daryl, can we meet right after work?

I will not be attending the festival on Saturday.

A few more details....

We will need a keg of water, to rinse the lines of BLC. We might be able to do that in Rock Island, if we blow at least one keg.

CR Beer Nuts Festival handouts.....are they in the trailer?
In the Fridge/On Tap: English Bitter, Schwarzbier, Cream Ale
In the keg: Wheat Beer, Russian Imperial Stout
In the bucket:
In the queue: Irish Red, American IPA

I have a stack of handouts that Jensen gave me to take down there.

We should all plan to wear our orange Festival shirts, too.

Was just checking inventory in the brew room and I have enough of the Matcha Green Tea beer left to bring. Probably won't last too long, but I need to empty the keg and what better way than to give it all away! I'll add it to the App.

Another Festiv-Ale is in the books.

Thanks to:

Randy Carris, Cal Corrin, Tony Browning, Karl Hoech, Josh Peanasky, Pat McCusker, and myself, for supplying the beers. We has 12 kegs to tap, and we had many nice comments on our beers and on the bar.

Our away team who supported this trip by doing the set-up, pouring, clean-up, and storage of our equipment, which included:
Tony Browning
Randy Carris
Brian Hall
Josh Peanasky
Daryl McCall

And to Karl Hoech for doing many of the preliminary tasks necessary to pull off this successful roadtrip.

And an extra big thanks to Brian Hall for towing the trailer

A really successful team effort

Thanks!

Just wanted to add that we got a fair amount of interest in attending our festival from the crowd. AND, we might have picked up another Club to come pour! They are going to discuss it this week and hopefully we'll hear some good news in a few days.

The sad news is that the Powder Keggers are struggling and while a couple of them might attend our Festival, they may not have more than one or two things to pour. Seems like their members are losing interest and only a couple of them are shouldering the load.
