I thought about this a little bit more all my equipment is portable and I was going to bring it all anyway but piecing together what I have to what you are already bringing Karl will have enough to complete your all-grain brewing and I'll have enough left over to do a 5 gallon Brew in a bag

I hadn't realized that you were planning on an all-grain setup. Certainly we can go with just one. My portable gear is certainly the cheapo setup for all grain. This might be a nice alternative to the more capable setup. Or, I could do an extract version instead. Or via the Zymatic. What do you all think would make the best alternative demo?

I think an all grain BIAB or three tier along with a basic extract kit (maybe with some grains) would be nice. Good to show extract kit so understand easy to get started.

Not sure if I will be able to come yet or not but I hope to stop by and pour a little beer for a short amount of time.

I may bring my equipment. I may even brew. I need to think about it.

I will have three kegs there to pour: IPA, mead, and cider.

Do we need to have a preliminary meeting to find out who's doing what or can we do it all on this site?

A) who's Brewing/ would like to brew

B) who has equipment to bring or share

C) how much room do we have to work with on patio? 2,3,4 of brew rigs of people brewing

I would love to brew for this and I can make all my equipment available to all if I'm not brewing. (Just excited to be apart of the day) but I also understand this is meant to be more of an introduction into Brewing and my 10 gallon batch brewing rig might be a little Overkill for a demonstration like this. What are everybody's thoughts?

Yes, a meeting is a good idea. And, it's a chance to support our local brewers by enjoying their product.

How about Thursday, October 26 at 7:30 pm at Iowa Brewing Co.?

Let's meet......

What are folks availability for Wednesday (tomorrow) and Thursday of this week...for us to get together and map out the day?

Sounds as if we will definitely will have some parallel demonstrations going.

I'm good with IBC, Thursday, at 7:30.

I checked their calendar and, at least at this time, they have no events scheduled for Thursday evening.

Hey guys, I know I won't be able to participate, but whatever come from the pow-wow could you pass on to me. I'd like to make sure I get as much info up on the Facebook event as possible as early as possible so we can promote this.

Thanks,
