Just wanted to follow-up here. I just added a 2nd entry in the wort rally and paid via PayPal the extra $6 for the additional entry. Just want to make sure that I did it correctly? :|

The entry is in properly, and looks complete.

I get periodic payment reports from Derek, you should see your entry marked paid soon after I get the next report.

Thanks Tony

Thanks, Daryl!

Another question - on the Entry listing, if you click the print icon, it prints a bottle label with QR codes and stuff on it. Are we supposed to use that one, or a regular BJCP bottle label, per the entry instructions, or are we supposed to use both??

I didn't realize that came with the SW.

Go ahead and use the Print Icon version. That seems easiest.

Wanted to double check, can entries be dropped off at Lion Bridge at anytime now?

That is the plan. I will reach out to Ana today to remind them, and see what I need to do to make sure they are ready to receive them.

I was there for the Firkin and spoke briefly to Ana. Yes, entries can be dropped off any time now.

Ok, judging day will soon be upon us....10 AM, Sunday, May 19, to be exact...and I could use some help.

1) Please go to the competition website, login, and enter the Style and Sub-category you have planned for your beer. This will help us plan the flights for our judges; and could impact the number of judges we need.

2) I could use some volunteers to work with us on Sunday. I would like to devote a steward to each judging team; or have our stewards serve no more than two judging teams simultaneously. I would also like to fill the roles of Head Steward/Cellarmaster. Participation in these roles do earn you points if you are thinking of becoming BJCP certified. It would be nice to have at least four stewards. We will start at 10 AM; I am hoping the Best of Show will be completed mid-afternoon.

Contact me if you have questions, or require more information.

I can let you know where we will be meeting.

Is it OK to steward if we have entries?

Great question Tony.
I know of no restrictions as to who can steward, but we will exclude stewards from flights for which they have an entry.
That just seems to make good sense.
Thanks Tony

The 2019 LB/CRBS Wort Rally and Pro-Am Qualifier is in the books.
The results have been posted on the Wort Rally website as have all of the scoresheets; you should be able to access them now electronically.
Congratulations to all of the participants and medal winners.
Only 7 months until we rack this up again for the 2020 LB/CRBS Wort Rally/Pro-Am Qualifier.
Cheers,
D

Thanks Daryl and the rest of the competition crew for making this happen. I'm still a bit shell-shocked about the results. There were so many really great beers. A super big congrats to Tony Browning for winning 1st and 3rd place in the BOS!! That is an outstanding achievement.

BIG tip of the hat to Daryl for his many months of hard work, spanning 3 years to make this happen for our brewing community. It was great to meet the brewers from the other clubs that participated and to just be a part of this great and fun event.

Here's hoping Randy's beer brings home some hardware from GABF - what a great thing that would be for both him and the Club! Just being a part of that competition is awesome in and of itself!!

I'm just stoked to get to join the elite club of CRBS members that have brewed their recipes on the Lion Bridge system and seen it on tap at the brewery and hopefully in cans, too!
