Is everyone’s RIS ready go in the barrel? I’ll sample the black widow today. Two weeks ago it was still awesome. [emoji39]. I could do the swap tomorrow if all the RIS is ready to go in.

I put mine in a corny keg earlier this week after a 2 week cold crash, had a growler or so extra I carbonated and got around to tasting today, a little hot/ warm (alcohol) but the flavor was great!

So I'm ready to drop off at a specified location when everyone is ready.

I would be ready by next weekend or sometime this next week. My big beer stalled out around 1.028 but I’ve been feeding it a little sugar to bring it down and it’s almost ready. Little beer is carbonated as of yesterday and is quite tasty.

I’m thinking Sunday, Jan 17. I’ll check with Daryl to make sure this works. We are using his pump I think.

Let's shoot for the afternoon of Sunday, January 24.

We'll set a time in the afternoon...prior to that time, will be the pickup times. Afterwards (+1 an hour or so), we'll move the barrel to Mikes basement and setup to transfer beer back into the barrel.

For those may not be able to make that day, we'll make arrangements so that you can drop off empty vessels for your Porter....or to drop off kegs/vessels of RIS to transfer into the barrel.

We'll post more details as we get closer to the 24th.
In the Fridge/On Tap: English Bitter, Schwarzbier, Cream Ale
In the keg: Wheat Beer, Russian Imperial Stout
In the bucket:
In the queue: Irish Red, American IPA

We've picked that weekend as the last reasonable weekend whereby we could force carbonate a keg for the club and distribute at our usual Happy Hour Sunday on the 31st.

It's in the works.

More later.

The 24th works for me. I have a congregational business meeting to attend at church, but I'm sure I can arrange drop off of an empty for the Porter and a keg of the RIS. And, also later pick up the kegs after the exchange.

My RIS is in the fermenter as of lunch time today. Maybe mine can be the top off the barrel beer.
