I dropped off 12 kegs at Benz. Just need to show up and pour now.

I have not heard from Karl on the table top bar....if we do not have it, we'll just roll-out the other bar.

It's all good.

We will need all hands to stick around after the festival, to get our tap lines rinsed out, our gear put away, and to help Matt pickup and store his gear as well. If we all work together, we should be out of there around 6:30 PM.

Kegs will be available for pickup immediately after the festival....if you can't pick them up today, please try to get down to Benz tomorrow and retrieve them from the Benz Cooler.

We're having a festival guys! It's going to be great!

See you later this morning.

I was mistaken...just checked the trailer, and the table top bar is in there...Karl must have the jockey box...so we're good to go with Pat's station.

INDEED! It was great to get out in the public and pour beer again! I saw so many people that I hadn't seen in many months. So looking forward to our 1st Happy Hour at Thew next Sunday!

I would like to thank all of the club members that donated beer, we had over 30 beers; and to those who showed up early and stay late to set-up and then clean-up; and to our Vice President Travis Kasper for overhauling all of the taps on the table top bar and the smaller of our two large bars. The ten tap bar will be next....but it can wait for now.

And Ryan Stevens had a dress rehearsal for the Drink Local festival by managing the beer taps - where things went quite smoothly. And there were others pitching in as well - the usual cast of players - you know who you are - and I thank them as well.

It was a pretty happy crowd and our end of the street was pretty busy. I heard many favorable comments on our offerings.....and many requests as to where they could buy our beers. My standard response was "We can give it away or we can teach you how to make it."....some seemed interested, but it was later in the day and, you know, it might have been the beer talking!!!

Thanks again everyone. It was a great time and your beers and your efforts represented the club well....Congrats.

It was really fun to be out in public again. My kegs were both empty when I claimed them. The Crunch Berry poured out in less than 10 minutes (only 64 oz), so next time I need to pour smaller samples. I did hear a minor complaint on another group that the lines for our beers were long and it was too hard to get a beer. But I think that person may be uncomfortable in crowds. The lines didn't look too long to me, and we had 3 bars going so people could spread out. Divesh had a rather large bevy of groupies that only wanted to drink his beers it seemed. It was getting pretty funny at one point.

On that note, it was decided that when Lee leaves us for Seattle we should start using #Divesh as a replacement.

Thanks for letting me pour at the event! It was my first time standing on the other side of the bar, I didn't realize it would be that much fun. So, thank you to everyone for letting me serve beer.

Lol! I'm sorry. Some of my friends can get really weird after a few drinks!

Whew! Just cleaned, sanitized, and purged 6 kegs, transferred a saison into one of them, and cleaned a fermenter. Now to get brewing and fill them again for upcoming events.

Dropped off Matt's extension cord yesterday, that made its way into our trailer. We talked a bit about the festival; he is considering keeping it on the Saturday before Father's Day.

I think that is a really good idea.....and make a great Father's Day gift/outing.

Next time that I drop by Benz, I'll second the idea of keeping it in June. I think that's less risky weather-wise than early May (Mother's Day).
