Anyone seen any info about parties the night before the conference? The NHC webpage has info about tours of local breweries during the day, but nothing about bashes on Wednesday night.

Also, down in the Gas Lamp area, there is a serious tap room - http://www.yardhouse.com/CA/san_diego/ Over a 100 yummy beers on tap at any one time!! And, the foods pretty damned good, too!

And, because I love you guys so much, I'm clueing you in on the place to buy beer in the downtown area - http://bestdamnbeershop.com/ I've been there and it is the "Blue Max" of the Gas Lamp district. Hit it early before they get cleaned out by the NHC folks like what happened at Blue Max last year.

Tony,

Don't forget that the BN party will be that night. Which should be a rock'in party this year.

It was one of the best parties last year and with it being on their home turf this year. I am betting that will be a f'in rock'in party this year. I have been keeping an eye out and they have not started selling tickets for it yet. But it wasn't until March or April last year that tickets went on sale for it.

Well, yes, temporarily. American Airlines has once again teased me with a good itinerary for about 6 hours, then promptly taken it away. Stay tuned to see if they put it back up.

Hey if you see some kick'in fares please feel free to post them here. I have not purchased my tickets yet, probably a few others have not yet either. The best I have found is $521 currently.

I'll keep my eye out for you. I'm trying to use my miles to get there, the availability of flights changes daily.

ah gotcha, the other thing is if you don't want to use miles, I have a US air card and get a companion ticket coupon for $99 bucks each year. We could use that. I am showing US Airways as $531, so add the $99 divided by 2. We could each go for $315/person (plus the stupid tax bull they always hit you with).

Well, I' not going to NHC. I know I'll catch flak for that, but I have peace offering for those that are going....I found this APP this morning that may be useful

Not sure make sure you check it out, the iPhone app can not listen to archives. It only plays what is streaming from the BN at any given time.

Can someone who owns it verify that you can listen to archives with it?
