Here are the orders we have received so far.

The PAID column is populated with the latest information from Dan.

Note, that we will stop taking orders after Monday, May 1, we need to give Lion Bridge a fixed count so that Alex can adjust the grain bill to the amount of wort we need.

Thus far, we are ordering 240 gallons for 28 brewers. This is a really good turn-out...it would be awesome if we hit 300 gallons!

Please let me know if you are missing from the list or if your order pairing/partner is not correct.

Cheers,
D

I removed the chart, Dan's Google Sheet is more accurate, please refer to that posting.

I have a question on this. Since I am starting the boil with 5 gallons of wort instead of my normal 7+ gal for a 5 gal batch, would I reduce my hops by about 30% or is there a way BeerSmith can caculate? Thanks.

Approach 1 - If you are following a 7 gal pre-boil recipe, and did not modify the hop profile, then yes, you will get a hoppier beer. If the original hop profile totaled 4 oz...I would use 3 oz; if the original were 2, I'd use 1.5 oz. That is an approximate linear reduction...but a little on the high side on the final...but not by much.

I think that would work scaling from 7 to 5 gallons...but probably not 7 to 3 gallons.

Approach 2 - If you measure the BG of the 5 gallons of wort...and then create 2 gallons or wort from RO water and LME or DME and get back up to 7 gallons. It might change the taste profile a bit, but if you used Light malt extract - you could get away with it.

Either way, I bet it'll be good.

Just my initial thoughts, I would be curious to hear what Matt and Lee would advise on scaling the hop profile.

You may want to be prepared to get more than 5 gallons too if you bring a vessel capable of holding more than 5.

I'm trying to decide what to make it into.
Are we going to get more information to planning with, like estimated OG, expected FG, mash temp, SRM, %base vs crystal?

You have me listed twice on the spreadsheet. I can only handle 10 gallons and that is pushing it.
