2019 Quarterly Club Comp. Turn in and judging.

Turn in for berry mead will be next week at the general meeting, judging will be at East Grove Meadery on SUNDAY JUNE 23rd in the afternoon so leaving Cedar Rapids around 11am, Pat and Myself will be going, please post here if you are available for the day to judge.

We will be meeting at the Sam's Club parking lot on Blairs Ferry across from Burger King at 11 tomorrow for the mead judging

A successful day judging mead, thanks Pat for driving and Randy for tagging along. Lots of good meads, Kurt and Justin from East Grove were impressed with the flight we brought.

July turn in is upon us!
29A Fruit Beer
A reminder that fruit beer is its own category 29a however, you do need to list your base Style and what type of fruit you used. It says that right in the BJCP Style Guidelines for fruit beer.

Judging will be July 30th the last Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. location to be announced

Do to a conflict of interest my printer and I are no longer on good terms, hence if you haven't already downloaded the BJCP Style Guidelines on your phone I would do so because I won't have a printout of each base style.

October meeting turn- in
I will not be able to attend the meeting Travis has agreed to accept bottle entries that night, i will get them from him before the Judging.
Also Judging is to be held at 7pm on October 29th the LAST Tuesday of this month, location tba.

Hey gang judging will be held next Tuesday October 29th at 7 p.m. tentatively at Iowa Brewing Company, I'm still waiting for a reply back.
Please post here if you are able to come and judge or steward. This will be the last competition judging for this year
