I am an artist. I will be happy with any canvas that is presented.

Last minute instructions

Lion Bridge will receive buckets/carboys/kegs until 9 PM on Thursday, May 4th. They can be plastic or metal....but please no glass.

The Wort will be ready for pick up by 3 PM on Friday, May 5th.

About the wort...
SRM will be about 4.7 pre-boil.
Pre-boil gravity will be greater than 1.058, but less than 1.075; it all depends upon the final run-off volume, which is proportional to the number of entries.
The wort will be held at 190 degrees for 20 mins to pasteurize, cooled, and then moves to the vessels.

Quinton's suggestion for the rally name..... "Liquidation Rally 2017" as he puts it " Kind of in the vein of a yard sale with a pun thrown in for good measure.".

I say we go with it! Thoughts?

Name works for me. But, how do we morph that into a T-shirt design??

Couple questions regarding the wort:
Will it be pre boiled or just ran off and collected into our vessels?

Is there any way we can get info regarding salt additions, if any at all?

The wort is not pre-boiled.

I will see if LB is willing to share information about salt additions.....and the response from Quinton is "you won't want to add any salts to the boil.".

Couple posts up says no boil. Wort held at 190F for 20 minutes to pasteurize, cooled, then ran off to our vessels.

For salts, I would guess it has a west coast salt profile from tasting it but not to the extreme side. I know, you want low sulfates but there are going to be some I would guess.

Please make sure to legibly mark your vessels and lids before you bring them on Thursday.

Lion Bridge will not have the means to help you label your equipment, so please make sure you label them at home.

Nothing a little chloride can't fix.

is there anyone that wants to buy my 5 gallons? We had a water line break and most of our house got flooded. I'm not going to be brewing for awhile! I have already paid for it.

Just saw this. If you can drop off a bucket tonight, I will take the wort and pay you for it. I don't have time to drive out the house in Walker and then back into Lion Bridge tonight.
