Hey guys, im not sure where exactly to post this, but do we have any local beer stores? Home brew shops? Places that you can stop into and buy kits, stoppers, stuff like that???

The only places to "stop in" the I know of is the Hy-Vee Liquor at Blairs Ferry and Center Point Road and Benz downtown. Correct me if I'm wrong here. Dubuque has a Homebrew shop, and Des Moines has 2.

the hy-vee has home brew supplies??? I did not know that if so. I live very close to that one, so if it has supplies, I might have to stop in there! I live one block in from the corner of c ave and boysen rd. So pretty close.

i think it's pretty limited, but they seem to have things you need in a pinch.

The only one that does is the hyvee drug store on the corner of Blair's Ferry & Center Point.

Benz had a limited supply of stuff last time I was there. I would try the Hy-Vee first.
