Something went bad inside the little blue box. Are these repairable or do you have to replace them. The digital display won't come on (no menu, temp reading, etc)

Have you tried unplugging and pluggung back in? Does the power light come on? Have you checked the outlet with a different appliance ( a desk lamp or drill)? Beyond that it is beyond my me.

There is very little you can fix here. I have an extra one, just in case. However, the best advice I can give is to wait until you are fed up enough to get another one. As soon as that second one clears the credit card, the old one will start working again.

I've never repaired one, so this is not from experience, but I would recommend two things.

1. Open it up and look for a fuse.
2. Contact the company. I've had electronics problems before and been able to talk a company into sending me a replacement circuit card or component.
