Club meeting for February 2011

Tech meeting
Time has come to start circulating hosting and meeting ideas
All members interested in hostig should post to the forum
Jeremy has offered to let people host at his house, if they do not have room, or are not in a suitable location.

Events for the following year will be:
Benz Beer Fest
BrewBQ in Independence
IFB at millstream
Grout Festival
Think about what you want to brew, so we have beer to cover all of our events. Signup sheets will be at upcoming meetings, as well as on the forum.

Build the bar!
The bar building team is going to assemble and come up with plans and a preliminary budget

March 17th, 7 pm
There will be a chili cookoff that night, so get your entries ready
Tony will post cookoff information on the forum

Tim will get together with Wayne at Center Point HyVee to discuss the possibility of joining up with us for a competition

Grain order should be in soon
Tom is covering the check, so it is important everyone picks up and pays in a very timely manner. When grain comes in, you should be ready to pickup and pay within a couple days. We don't want Tom left with a bunch of grain, while covering other's expenses.

Bourbon barrel
RIS recipe from 3rd base is the winning recipe
Aoril 2nd was decided on as the date to put it in the barrel

Beer camp is on this year! Dates will be determined. Matt Franklin will be in charge of the beercamp again this year.

The next three beers are:
European amber lager
Marzen
Smoked and wood aged beer
Other smoked
Other meads
Open category
