Has anybody used freshops.com? The have Amarillo, which I desperately need. The prices seem to be pretty good, but that always makes me concerned about quality.

I have not. I have used the site below recently, but not sure on the freshness. I know what you mean though. I received hops labeled 2008 from farmhouse once. They weren't even vacuum sealed. Just in an opened foil hop bag, inside of a ziploc bag. Uh, ok.

I have not used freshops.com but have ordered several times for
www.hopsdirect.com which is Putterburgh Farms. Most of their domestic hops are +-$10 per pound. Unfortunately they are out of Amarillo for the year.

+1 on hops direct. Their hops are well persevered and packaged well. Also they have a good sale at the end of the season when new crops come in, so they don't have a lot of old stock laying around.

I haven't ordered from them, but they are an Oregon hop producer. I would think they should have a quality product.

Did you ever order from this place? I see they have Citra hops as well, which are almost equally as hard to come by anymore.
