I mentioned to a few of you at the meeting that i wanted to build a Randal. I've ordered the filter housing and should have no problem getting this done quickly once it arrives. One piece I was hoping to snag from someone would be the dip tube from a Sanke keg. That apparently is the perfect thing to use for the "core" of the Randal. Has anyone recently converted a keg to kettle and still have the dip tube laying around? The other question is, is there any interest in bringing it to Benz? Does someone have a beer that may be appropriate to run through an infusion. Later in the year we'll have whole hops form our gardens to use, but we could always do fruit or chocolate at Benz. Let me know.

I've got one you can have. It will need a bit of cleaning, but otherwise should work fine.

Thanks Lee, once the housing arrives and I'm heading to Menards to grab the fittings I need, I'll set up a time to swing by and grab it. Looks like it'll be a go for Benz, so if anyone want's to use it, let me know.
