Any word on the patches? I know we were supposed to get them about a week before Benz. That should be now.

Yep! As long as you have yours it shouldn't be an issue.

Folks looking for patches, I'm firming up last minute details, but the patches are in town now and I hope to be at 3rd base brewing Wednesday night from 6-9 and will distro the patches to those who need them. I don’t have them in my hands yet, so as soon as I do I’ll confirm this.

We only have 100 patches ordered and were setting things up so those of you that are active paid members this year get one free patch, each additional patch will be at cost, which I believe is going to be around $2/each but need to verify for sure as I haven’t got the bill.

I know many of the members have patches all ready, and don't need anymore, then we would be happy to get them to future members or extras to current ones. Remember these are patches for club members and were not selling them to the general public, so please don’t paste one on your cub scouts shirt.

Since we don't have club uniforms, I'd recommend try finding a work shirt as that is the general theme of our club only shirts, but you could also put these on hats, etc. Hell, throw one on your favorite pair of boxer briefs, but don’t show me.

New this year we will also be selling t-shirts which most of you should be aware of. Still firming up cost of the shirts but it sounds like were going to get club members shirts at cost if you want one, which will be $10. Were selling them to the public for $15. I will NOT have the shirts by tomorrow with the patches, if you want a shirt please bring money to Benz to get one there. We have limited quantity and sizes, first come first serve.

I’ll be posting more info and a what’s needed list on the benz thread over the next few days, thanks for everyone’s help in making what should be our best event yet!

My favorite pair of boxers is are the ones worn by my 20 year old super-model
girlfriend....So if your're sure you don't want to see them I guess I'll deal.

I'll try to meet you at 3B to pick up a couple of patches. I want a couple of
the work shirts for to wear at NHC.

I want to grab a patch to make a hat. I won't make it out tonight but can just grab one at a later time.

Patches will be at 3rd base after six tonight

If you can't make it tonight but want one, or in no hurry please make arangements to have someone pick one up for you tonight, or we can bring them on Saturday for the not in a rush type.

I should be leaving closer to nine, stick around and have a brew/dinner if you want.

I also heard a good tim about some great patch glue from the boy scouts store, I'd like to get my hands on some of that if I have time.

Work shirts can be found in town as well, don't recall the name of the store off mt vernon road, but I know someone will pipe up.

thanks all

Keik's on Mt. Vernon road has the work shirts. The scout shop off 6th st. has the scout patch adhesive sheets. Micheal's may have it as well.

The patches actually have heat seal backing for easy iron on.

Yep, but some people have had trouble with the glue on them sticking, others have not. I think it is probaby that sometimes the glue is not evenly applied to the patches from the supplier, which is a standard issue with patches that I have seen.

Right, I’m not sure how well others are holding up on the shirts, those of you old timers can chime in. I just heard a recommendation that you can amp that up with the boy scouts help.

Mine has held up great, I just ironed on and has been solid ever since. I know Tim had trouble with his and he followed the same procedure for appllication that I did, hense my statements.

2 of my 3 patches did not stay on the shirt. Scout patch backing works 100% of the time.

My patches came loose at the points. A stitch in each point cured that.
