Beersmith 2.0 Available mid-June

The long awaited upgrade to Beersmith is going to be released right before NHC if all goes well, according to creator Brad Smith. He's offering discounts for pre-orders.

The full proce for new customers is going to be $27.95, but you can pre-order it for $23.95. The order page is: http://www.beersmith.com/order_now.htm.

Current Beersmith owners can pre-order the upgrade for $16.95. After the release upgrades will be $19.95. Here's the upgrade link: http://www.beersmith.com/blog/upgrade/.

Just an update: Version 2 is going to go on sale at noon Eastern on the 10th. If you've been thinking about upgrading or pre-ordering at the lower price you need to do it before then.

Got mine pre-ordered for the current user price. Looking forward to it's release. I hope there will be a mobile app coming along soon.

I've had mine preordered. I really like the user friendliness of the 1.4 version.

When you guys get it, I sure would like to check out this version to see if I am interested. I am still not convinced that it is the software that I would like to use from viewing the upgrades section on the website but would like to see it in action.

Maybe one of you could bring a laptop with it to one of the upcoming meetings so people who may be interested could check it out.

Last night I offered to demo the new version at the next tech meeting on July 6th. No one present was able to host so I tenatively set it as my place.

Randy,

That would be great, if we are going to do another software meeting. It would be nice to get a couple of the different programs together and demo several. So that those that are interested in moving into brewing software can see several different options and find the right fit for them.

I have Promash and BeerAlchemy that I could demo. Anyone else use other software that they could bring to demo?
