Anyone have about 4 oz they would be able to sell or trade at the next meeting? I have Simcoe and Amarillo I would be willing to exchange.

I also have a few other varieties if anyone is interested in them.

Kent, I have 1.75oz of centennial pellets. All yours if you want them. Making the Two Hearted clone from Zymurgy? I got that one up sometime too.

John, how did you guess? It's coming down the pipeline in week or so. I have a cream ale bubbling right now, and a Saison, and wit on deck, but tht recipe is pretty easy and I think I could sneak it in on one of my brew days. I would be happy to take what you have, what would you like in return? I have German hallertau, fuggles, columbus, canscade, and the aforementioned simcoe and amirillo.(I also have cash)

I know that HyVee on center point has Centennial hops. I just bought some there.

I just brewed this a few weeks ago! No leftover hops tho. I upped my additions to 6 oz, all late. Should be very aroma-y.

I've never used hops from the local places, THe hyvee in Iowa City just has them thrown in a drawer, I'm a little leery of the quality and age.

By the way, If anyone needs any of the hops I listed, don't hesitate to speak up. I'm always willing to share/trade, I buy all my stuff in bulk, so I often end up with high quantities of a few varieties. I keep them frozen in barrier bags, so they keep fine, but I would rather trade for more variety if anyone needs what I have, especially on short notice.

I've also got Centennial if anyone else needs some. I've also got plenty of Fuggles, Warrior, and Chinook if anyone is interested.

I buy hops there all the time. They are stored in foil packs, so air an light are not an issue. They have dates on the packages. So you can get a reasonably good idea of the freshness, and it seems like the stock rotates. Whether it is because they are selling it, or removing old stuff from the shelves, they seem to be keeping up with it.

Doesn't matter, brother, a beer, a hug, a 3 legged hooker, I am good with what ever. Just hook me up next time I am in need.
