I would be happy to take care of this event, but I need the details. Where, When. I think it's the same weekend as the Indy event. I'm not planning to go to the Independence event, so I can take the lead on this one. My system is pretty portable so I can do a brewing demo on site. All I need is some water, and if anyone has some hop bines for display that would be good too. Let me know what needs to be done and I will do it.

Its 1:30, Sunday 8-28. It’s a demo, sign up sheet, and beer tasting. And by beer tasting I mean casual, cooler type.. were not pouring kegs or anything. Just those interested can sample a beer or two at your discretion.
I will work more on getting the details, as I don’t have them all yet, also we think we will have water, but I’m waiting to get verified.
I plan on being there as well for a bit to preach about home brewing, shake some hands and kiss some babies heads.. J

OK,
I'll plan to make a simple all-grain batch. Water is going to be necessary for this. I can also bring a couple growlers. I'm assuming we'll have a table. I'll also bring some malt samples for people to try. Kurt, I'll get some hops from you at some time. I just want to have a few interactive things available so I have something to talk about.

Hey guys, I'm sorry some how in my conversations with the events committe I got weekends mixed up, its actually labor day weekend, the same weekend as IA brew fest and not the BrewBQ.
Please make note its Saturday September 3, afternoon. I'm narrowing down an exact time.
I know this changes things for alot of you on availabilty, sorry for the confusion. If those of you interested can get back to me ASAP and let me know if your still interested I need to let the event cordinators know if we can still put this together.
Again, its going to be a small brew demo and a little sampling.

Thats great - there is water available. You will be at the Matyk Building, 1029 Third St SE - we can either put you on their back "patio" or in front - depending on how much exposure you want. The inside will be our merchandise store and information. The schedule for Saturday is as follows - we'd like to have you there sometime around 10? 3rd Street will be closed, but you will be able to get to it from 11th Ave really easy (for unloading, etc) That way if we get some of the Farmers Market crowd, they can visit with you.
Saturday High Overview Schedule
Vendors, Exhibits, etc: 8am-6pm
Stages: 10am-8pm
Farmers Market Shuttle Bus: 8am-1pm

No Problem, I'll try to be there in time to be set up and started by around 10. I think more visibility is better.

A couple things. Does the club have a canopy? and if so I would like to use it for Saturday.
Randy, I'm planning to bring my burner and tank, which you are more than welcome to use. What style are you planning to make?
Also I'm planning to bring a power inverter to run my laptop for my recipes if you need power.

I'm making a Hefe, so a 90 minute boil. Do you still want to use my chiller? If so we need to coordinate times.
