All Grain demo or training

I currently do extract brewing and would like to move to All Grain.

I was wondering if the CR Beer Nuts have ever done any All Grain Brewing demos or training? I would and I wonder if others might have some interest, if you would do some training.

thanks,

Dean

Check out the "Who's Brewing" section: http://www.crbeernuts.org/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=9.

A number of people in the club post when they're going to brew a batch, and most of those who post are doing all-grain.

We recently changed the permissions on that forum, so if you tried to read it in the past and couldn't, give it another try.

I'm brewing about every other weekend if I don't have anything else going on. I try to post what I'm planning, but I usually don't have it figured out much before Thursday or Friday. If you want we can try to set something up in advance for you to come over and see my setup in action.

Or, if there's enough demand, we could certainly do a tech meeting on all-grain. If people want that let me know and we'll get one scheduled. We don't currently have a November topic yet.

I'm always open to showing folks how I brew. It might not be the best way or even the right way, but it usually turns out something drinkable... When I post in the Who's Brewing forum, I welcome anyone to stop by and see all the mistakes I make... :)

If we want to do something formal, the AHA Teach a Friend to Homebrew Day on November 5 would be a good opportunity. I posted something about this in Upcoming Events a while ago but nothing formal has been arranged. I may host some folks for that, but won't know if the day is free until closer to the event.

I plan to brew two batches on this Sunday which I will post in Who's Brewing too.
