Cedar Rapids Brewing Society

There is a new beer distributor in town. Abu Nawas Beverage Co. LLC, based out of Elkader, IA has started distributing to the Cedar Rapids area. Here are the first few to come in.

Element Extra Special Oak
Element Red Giant
Pretty Things Babayaga
Pretty Things Baby Tree

There will likely be a tasting in the near future to feature these products along with a few others.

Are these the same guys with the Schera’s Restaurant in Elkader? That place use to have Two Hearted on tap years ago. One of the best beer selections around for several years. Authentic Algerian food and other interesting stuff. Check it out. Would be a good food stop on a NE Iowa brewery crawl.
