Do we have any more info on this yet? Are we pouring? I can contact Nick if nobody has heard anything.

Travis has been in touch with them and is trying to get them to decide what they want. He plans to pass the contact info to me and I'll finish coordinating with them. Right now it sounds like they don't needus to pour at the main event, but might like us to serve our beers to a group of volunteers and brewers the night before as a way to thank them for participating. It would give us unique access to the brewers.

We should know more soon.

Bad people drink bad beer. You don't usually see an empty bottle of
Rochefort tossed onto the side of the road

At this point were not pouring due to legalities and brewery construction. Randy our new events manager and I will get you any new updates as they unfold but know its iffy. We might just have a booth to bolster club membership but not pouring if you so choose.

Nick will be at the next meeting, is there any interest in having him bring some tickets with him? I'm not sure if he can do that, but i can check

Nick said he can bring tickets, this will save you the $2 service charge or a trip to Iowa city to pick them up. But, he will have to buy them, then you will reimburse him for the ticket. So if you say you want one, please make sure you are at the meeting and ready to pay for it. I think Bricks has an ATM, but don't quote me on that.

Who's all going down Saturday? I bought tickets before they asked for volunteers so I'm just drinking. The boy and I have a room by Old Chicago and it sounds like that's where the brewers are going after the event. It should be a good time.

One of the IBUer's from DSM and I will be going. Staying right there at the Marriott. Likely will go to The Vine afterwords, perhaps 2 Dogs as I have not been there yet and want to check it out.

My wife and I are coming down too. I'll not be volunteering as I also bough a ticket in advance. Besides, someone needs to man the BN table. Hopefully a few of you can stop by and trade off so I don't have to stand there the whole time. I plan to be there in time for the tour (noon I think).

Is there anyone going that is coming back that night and has room for one or two people? I would be willing to chip in for gas and buy a few beers before or after for said individual.

I will be going at the start and coming back between 3 and 4.

I will take a few people there or back but I need people to be ready to leave between 3 and 4. I don't want to be hunting around for Beer Nuts sleeping underneath the tables.

And if we could meet at a location (like parlor city) that would help a lot.

Don't want to be a debbie downer. I just have to work that evening.

Hey guys, just an FYI, if you're planning to hit Red's after the brewfest, they will be closed. They're having some sort of Ugly sweater party that evening. Just a heads up.
