Hopslam is back! Once again, Reds has the privilege of hosting the Iowa Release Party for Bell's most anticipated seasonal brew. Friday, January 20th at 2:00pm, we will pour the first tasty glass of hoppy heaven until we run out! We are expecting to receive A LOT of Hopslam, so Reds will be the premiere place to enjoy a pint or two. Prepare yourself, it is a strong concoction, and you might end up looking like the guy in the logo...

I guess I know where I'll be at 2pm Friday! And I think my wife has the day off too!

Damn, I will probably be in my office staring out the window with images of Randy and Jim drinking all the Hopslam! Anybody know if White Star, Bricks and/or 3B will get any kegs soon?

You must be downtown, let me know if you find a place DT that has it. We better ask brick tomorrow.

Hate is such a strong word, possibly applicable here though. Definately jealous. At least it is suppose to snow a lot so when you swerve on your way home you can blame it on weather conditions.

Not downtown. I am out on the Transamerica (fka AEGON) campus near the Collins and Edgewood intersection on the NE side. I am more likely to be at Zepplin's or Thirdbase after work. I recall Parlor City will have some but not sure when they are allowed to tap it. I believe Red's has exclusive first serve rights. Bottles hit the shelves next week.

Yeah, I'm keeping an eye on the weather. If it gets nasty I won't be going even with a DD.

According to The Facebook, Parlor City is tapping a keg of Hopslam Friday as well.

good. I like Red's a lot but no bar should have a monopoly on when a keg gets tapped.
