I had a conversation with Pete at Bricks today. He's adding around 15 new taps the week after St Pat's day. He really would appreciate feedback on what beers he should have on tap. We're talking about getting together a small group to sit down with him and come up with a list. He's fairly flexible schedule wise except for the first weekend in March. Obviously he'd like to have the list worked out before the 19th so he has time to get the beers ordered from distributors.

Since we won't have a meeting before then I'm putting this out there so people who are interested can chime in and we can figure out a good day/time.

He also wanted to let the club know he has a bunch of bottles, mostly bombers and Grolsch bottles he will give away to anyone who wants some. He said he'd have them together by Saturday afternoon so if you want free bottles just stop in. There are also a few bottles that were left at the last meeting that he has saved, so if you are missing any just stop by.

I haven't had time to stop in before our meeting tomorrow to Bricks.

Does he still have some bomber bottles? Or if anyone has some I can buy let me know.

I don't normally bottle, and I like the bombers for when I do.

I can probably bring some 22's. I also have a bunch of 12 oz if anyone needs some.

I'd be interested in helping pick beers.

Maybe someone who won't fill the bar with sours, saisons, and lambics should participate...

Damnit, its true I like sours. A lambic is a sour, BEE TEE DUBS.

A few of us met down there a couple of weeks ago and gave him a lot of ideas, trying to get a wide variety. I think things will get better as he builds better relationships with his distributors. They are not being very cooperative with him yet. However, the more feedback the better, so don't be afraid to offer him your suggestions.

The folks we have to work on are Chad and Cheese. They need to hear from us that we're supporting Pete and will drink the yummy beers if they let him have them, without having to load up all the new taps with the rest of their lines, just so they can meet quota.
