Grains of Paradise and Dried Lemon Peel?

Post by quinton »

I am just heading out to try and source these two items somewhere in town. If I come back with my tail between my legs, is there anyone that might loan me an ounce or two of each?

You might try Health Hut on 1st Ave and 15th St. They can order local honey for you too.

I'll be heading down to StringTown Grocery in Kalona in the next week or three. I know they have lemon and orange peel. It's the sweet orange peel and I have some of that. They don't have bitter orange peel, I checked. It's a speciality item.

You can always order from http://www.thespicehouse.com/ they are pretty awesome for freshness but a tad pricey.

Try Frontier Herbs in Norway. It's a short drive if they have it.

Tom, it is 4534.22 miles from the US to Norway, I would hardly consider that a short drive. Plus, remember to hold your breath while driving under water!

You take the long way. It's only 18 miles the way I go.
