False bottom

Post by kjball »

Has anyone tried to make their own false bottom? I'm going to buy one soon, but they don't look all that difficult to make.
Bad people drink bad beer. You don't usually see an empty bottle of Rochefort tossed onto the side of the road

I haven't yet, but am going to making one here shortly as my kettles are not sold for brewing, therefore no false bottom made to fit my kettle. Already found a good source for the perforated stainless steel sheet metal if you want me to order enough to make one for yourself just let know.
