Sept 18 meeting...

Post by Derek »

I believe we discussed having this meeting at the Third Base Brewery, since this is the first meeting since the Iowa Festival of Beers, and new people may be more comfortable meeting in a public setting.

Travis (or should that be travis) asked to be reminded that we were planning to meet at the Third Base.

Dave, I thought when we made up the hosting schedule last time I was set to host Octobers meeting. We always have the meeting after the IFOB at Third Base.

Correct me if this is incorrect.

Hello everyone. I love the sound of velcro in the morning.

Thirdbase it is. I hope LCT can handle that much beer being consumed and doesn't run out of anything.

Sept meeting

Post by lpapkin »

You should all have received my email by now announcing that the Sept meeting will be at 3B Brewing. Please don't bring any home brew :( since they are in the business of making money by selling their beer and they don't know us from Adam, so probably wouldn't appreciate us bringing in beer. I know that is not too popular, but there will still be good beer to drink at very reasonable prices. Hope you all can make it.

Sept. meeting

Post by lpapkin »

Don't forget that this Thursday is the membership meeting at Third Base. We have half the party room reserved, so please help us with a good showing and to hopefully meet potential new members. Remember, for this meeting we are asking that no outside beer be brought in, and no food. Third Base has good beer at good prices so let's support that. You might also want to consider having dinner or a snack at the bar too. Let's support our only brew pub. Hope to see everyone on Thursday night.

Cheers,

Larry

Unfortunately only a week after my surgery. I won't be able to make it since I am still stuck on the couch. Wish I could be there.
