Bringing beers and Volunteering for the Home Brew Festival

Post by carrisr »

Here's your one-stop-thread for info on how to register beers or sign up to volunteer at the festival.

Beer Signup

If you are bringing beer to share at the event, please let us know by listing them at this site:

http://crbeernuts.herokuapp.com

Go there and register. You should get an email thanking you and saying you'll need approval to enter beers. The admins will also get an email notifying them of a new registration. One of the admins will then go in and approve you, it won't email you about the approval yet, but I will be adding that soon. I'll have manually send the emails for now. Once you're approved you can log in and click "Manage My Beers" and then click "New Beer" to enter your beer.

To volunteer to help at the event

To make sure the Homebrew Festival goes as smoothly as possible we need every available club member available to pitch in. Please use the following sign up to volunteer for the tasks the committee has identified as key positions in having a successful event.

http://www.signupgenius.com/

At the green tabs at the top of the page select "Find a Sign Up".

Search for my email "markjensen20@gmail.com"

Select "CR BeerNuts Homebrew Festival Event Tasks".

The password is "beerme".

Sign up for the duties. Use either your real name or your forum name.

A reminder email will be sent to you two days before the event.

So far we have a little over 130 gallons committed by the Beer Nuts to the event. Our goal was 150, so if you haven't posted your beers yet please do. We need to plan out our taps and make a list for attendees.

Everyone, we have only about a third of the event volunteer slots filled so far. We really need people to step up and agree to do more than pour beer if we want a successful event. Right now we really need people to help set up, man the front entrance, and help tear down. We've got a lot riding on this, so let's pull together!
