Brewing Saturday

I plan to brew a Belgian Pale Ale on Saturday the 20th. If you're interesting in coming to hang out let me know. I normally get started around 11 or so, but the schedule is pretty flexible. If you are looking for a no-frills way to go all-grain my setup fits the bill.

Randy,

I'm thinking of brewing too. I need to brew the ESB that I originally planned to brew for our brewfest. If I don't I'll try to stop out.

Me three.

Double sour brew day on Saturday starting around 9am. Oud Bruin and a Flanders Red, both using an infusion step mash a la Rodenbach.

If I can get done by 6 I'll be heading over to Matt's for the Hawks game.

Me four (except on Sunday). I'm planning to brew a batch of "Time Lord IPA", a 2-Hearted clone using all Galaxy hops instead of Centennial. I'll probably get started around 9 am and go until 3 pm.

Love the Time Lord IPA name! It wouldn't matter if the beer recipe changed from batch to batch either, call it a Time Lord regeneration.

I thought about brewing a series of beers using the names of the 9th through 11th Doctor's female companions.

Donna Noble would be a full-bodied Red.
Rose Tyler a blond.
Sarah Jane Smith a brown.
Martha Jones a chocolate stout.
Astrid Peth a Jalapeno or smoked beer (Kylie Minogue is smoking hot)
Amy Pond another smaller red (smoking hot too).
River Song I'm not sure about, perhaps something with archaeology?

Et Cetera Et Cetera.

I have a feeling Jim Potts would be down for this.

Could also do one beer per Doctor. The possibilities are endless.

I suppose I didn't say this before, but feel free to stop by tomorrow if you want to see an "all frills" all-grain, electric setup. 3601 Otis Rd.

And feel free to stop by and see an all grain brew, with gas, in a garage, as God intended!  I'm just getting set up now.  PM me if you need directions. On Oct 20, 2012 10:36 AM, "DrPaulsen" <brew-brewing@crbeernuts.org (brew-brewing@crbeernuts.org)> wrote:
