First, I want to give a big thanks to Benz for hosting this event and making this whole thing possible. Next I want to thank the committee members for their efforts to make this first big event a success: Tim, Tony, Jim P, Kent, Mark, Steven, Travis, and Kyle. Finally, a toast to the Beer Nuts for showing up and working the day of the event. By all accounts things went very smoothly.
This thread is for us to sum up the event so we can look towards the future. Please post your thoughts about what went well and what could have used some improvement. Also, useful info that might get lost in the shuffle next time but would be good to remember.
I'm not talking pie-in-the-sky wishes here, but what we might do to improve the event that we held, in this venue, with current resources. What got overlooked? Was there something we forgot to bring? Did we have enough space for the expected crowd? We really need good feedback.
We also need to tally up and list all of our expenses and what we brought in to get a clear picture of the finances.
