Has anyone been here? I just was made aware of this place and was looking for a review.

Exile Brewing

No I haven't. But don't you just love it when breweries use such incredibly vague but "oh, so artsy" descriptions of their beers? Note to the aspiring pro brewers out there: tell me WTF I'm supposed be drinking! I don't want to have to read a paragraph of flowery prose (and yes, Stone is major offender of this). OK, rant over....

They sure make their brewery sexy. I really like the picture with the young lady feeling a dude's leg. I am sure I will check it out when in Des Moines sometime. As always, hope the beer is good. Sounds like Backpocket type brews from the description. Have to agree with Randy. If applicable, I like a beer description that inlcudes Pale Ale, Hefeweizen, Maibock, etc... I am not saying you have to brew a style, but there is a name for about everything out there that helps me know what it should taste like.

Has the look of getting too trendy/swanky. I like the Pizza Port approach. Plain concrete floor and picnic tables with a bunch of beer crap on the walls. Less money in the building means more for the beer! The building does look cool though. Someone post what they thought once they get a chance to check it out.
