Club Belgian Dubbel comp

Post by carrisr »

OK, it's time to get this together. I need volunteers to help judge the Belgian Dubbel competition. I need 1-2 people to help judge the beers and 1 person to steward. Please let me know if you are willing to help and when you are available. Also, if you are willing to host also let me know. There are only 3 entries so it should only take about an hour.

i would be willing to host and steward if need be. i have never been to or seen a beer judging so i would be very interested in observing the process.

So I have Clint, Tony and Kent as possible. Would Tuesday evening work for everyone. Again, we've only got 3 entries so it's not going to be a late one.

We have a cabinet meeting on Monday, so that's out for 3 of us.

I'm OK with Wednesday as long as it's not a late night (I have an early appointment on Thursday).

Thursday is bad for me.

Wednesday is no good for me, but It looks like you would have it covered without me. I'm good with that.

Clint, PM me your address, too.

I picked up a couple of "reference standards" for the judging - Westmalle and Chimay.
