We're going to try and do the first pouring in January. The tentative date is Monday, January 21st at 6pm. If you'd like to bring beer to pour please post with your real name, as description of the beer you'd like to share, whether you have a keg or bottles, and how much you expect to have available to bring.

We'd like to have the plan ready a week or two in advance, so I'm setting the due date as January 6th by Midnight.

Up in Smoke Porter - Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Smoked Porter

This beer is a big smoked porter with a strong bourbon barrel flavor acquired from aging in a Cedar Ridge bourbon barrel for approximately 6 months. It was recently awarded 3rd place in the wood and smoked beer category of the MUGZ Land of the Muddy Waters Homebrew Competition. Be careful with this one, not everyone can handle their smoke.

One 5 gallon keg

I would like to participate. I will have an Amarillo IPA at the holiday party which seeks all of your approval. It will be kegged to go to Reds. If that doesn't fly I also have 5 gallons of a really good stout in bottles.

Mark,
I'm sure the IPA is good. However, since Matt is bringing a smoked porter, maybe the stout would be a better fit?

We really don't need any more than 10 gallons for this. So we don't need everyone to bring beer. It's going to happen every month. So we want to spread it out.

Red's has a scheduling conflict for the 21st and need to reschedule our tasting for the 28th. Matt, and Mark, would that work for you? I can do it I think.

Paul, we only need 10 gal TOTAL, not from each person. Even if you only have a couple of gallons, that will be OK.

I am available to pour on Monday the 28th. Mark Jensen and I are going to car pool down. Is 6pm still the scheduled pour time?
