Interesting. I just made cinnamon rolls using US05... It was late and didn't feel like running to the store.... they turned out good.

I'm guessing the hops are a preservative, but I wonder if they would impart a flavor to the bread? a double handful would be ~3oz?
The guy who submitted a barley wine in the Furious competition...

I belive they were saying you could culture yeast from hops. Sounds odd to me. Probably get something wild but no lacto.

Looks like a sourdough starter where they add hops to adjust the critter balance.
