Hi, all
a friend of mine told me about your group Im 26 & live in waterloo but I'm from CR. I have been brewing for a little over a year now I have only brew extract so far but i would like to try all grain (just have'nt bought the gear) I have brewed quite a few wheat beers some pale ales, few fruit beers(like dogfish heads kiwit and a few others) done some dry hopping and oak aging ( big fan of the oak) I am pretty much the only person I know that brews so im excited to see what i can learn from other brewers I know theres a lot you can only teach your self so much im planning on attending an upcoming meeting sadly I dont have any beer to brgin since I have'nt been brewing much the last few months ( damn hops shortage )

Glad to see you found us. We have a member that currently is working in the Waterloo area and commuting. His name is Mark. There is a homebrew club in Waterloo too called CRAZE that Mark could give you info about. I don't know much about them but have met a few at beer festivals.

We meet here in CR on the third thursday of each month unless we are having a special event. For example, we meet on a Saturday in July because one of the members hosts an annual gathering. Feel free to come join us. Next meeting is May 15 at 7pm. You can come late too. Most people are there until 10 before the crowd starts to thin. Meeting details are on this forum in the meetings sections.

I've been brewing off and on (lately more off than on) for quite a while, and am looking forward to drinking more of your beer. Oh, and also improving my brewing and hanging out with other beer snobs. Did I mention drinking more of your beer?

I am planning to make the meeting tomorrow. Sounds like a good time.
