Tony,
I went to a Yardhouse in Kansas City about 4 or 5 years ago, It's amazing! 110 taps and good food, I was very impressed of the semi trailer sized kegroom. A buddy and I got drunk while the ladies shopped at the mall. I checked their website and it looks like they have expanded to 3 to 4 times as many restaurants since I last went to one.

The yardhouse in San Diego is great, that whole area (gaslamp district) is a blast to wonder around and check out all sorts of great food/drink. Even Rock Bottom had a great place/beer.
I remember the first time I went to the Yardhouse many years ago, the first thing I asked for was a arrogant bastard ale, the bartender looked at me and said.. pfff, that’s for the weak. Drink this, and he poured me an old foghorn by anchor steam..

Interesting. I was underwhelmed by the one in San Antonio. That said, the entire beer scene in San Antonio is really really bad.

While not great, there are a few spots in San Antonio. I don't remember the name, but I had a great sour at Third Base one Friday afternoon that was from San Antonio. It was really, really good. Wish I could recall. I will have to follow up on that one.
